Easy Booking Calendar for WooCommerce

Description

Easy Booking Calendar for WooCommerce adds date-based bookings to your product pages. Customers select their dates, and the plugin calculates the booking price using your product price and the number of days or nights.

Use it for room stays, equipment rentals, or other products booked by date. Configure your calendar under Products > Booking Calendar, then enable Bookable on each product you want to offer for booking.

Each booking appears as one line item, with its dates and duration shown separately from quantity. Dates are reserved when an order reaches Processing or Completed and released when that order is cancelled, unless double bookings are enabled.

FAQ

How do I enable the calendar for a product?

After setting up the plugin, go to the product page, and enable the booking calendar in the product settings. You’ll find the Bookable checkbox right after the product type dropdown.

When are dates considered booked?

Dates are reserved when an order reaches Processing or Completed. Cancelling the order releases its booked dates. If double bookings are enabled, overlapping bookings are allowed.

How are days, nights, and quantity calculated?

January 1-3 is two nights in night-based mode or three days in day-based mode. Each booking uses a quantity of one; its duration determines the booking price rather than the WooCommerce quantity field.

Can I charge different prices on weekends or specific dates?

Yes, with Pro. Add a fixed increase or decrease for individual dates, or choose a date range and restrict it to selected weekdays. Rules are evaluated from top to bottom, and only the first matching rule applies to each date.

Can I release one date from a booking?

Pro lets you click a booked date in the product editor to restore its availability. This changes availability only; it does not shorten the original order or issue a refund. Handle any order adjustments separately in WooCommerce.

How do I translate the calendar heading and button text?

Leave the text fields empty to use the plugin’s translatable defaults, which can be translated with tools such as Loco Translate. Entered custom text overrides those defaults. Existing multilingual settings and intentionally hidden headings are preserved for compatibility. Calendar month and weekday language is controlled separately by the calendar locale setting.

Should I set my bookable product as virtual?

Yes, it’s recommended to set your bookable product as Virtual to avoid unnecessary shipping calculations, as bookings typically don’t require physical delivery.
