Installation

INSTALL GREEK MULTI TOOL FROM WITHIN WORDPRESS

Visit the plugins page within your dashboard and select ‘Add New’;
Search for ‘Greek Multi Tool’;
Activate Greek Multi Tool from your Plugins page;
Go to ‘after activation’ below.

INSTALL GREEK MULTI TOOL MANUALLY

Upload the ‘greek-multi-tool’ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory;
Activate the Greek Multi Tool plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress;
Go to ‘after activation’ below.

AFTER ACTIVATION

The plugin works out of the box. This means that you do not have to go through any settings or any activation process.
But in case you want to disable some of the plugin features you can do so from Greek Multi Tool (Located on left sidebar), to setup your desired functionalities of the plugin.

Yes, it does. This plugin works with permalink url’s and accented characters on product pages.

How do I convert the old permalinks?

Converting permalinks from posts that pre existed the plugin’s installation is as simple as a click of a button, simply navigate to Dashboard > Greek Multi Tool (Located on left sidebar) > Convert Old Permalinks. Then use the «CONVERT» button to initialize the permalinks conversion.

How do I contribute to Greek Multi Tool?

What version of PHP do I need?

Sites must be built on PHP 7.4 or greater, but Greek Multi Tool always supports the latest version of PHP.

What does the One/Two Letter Word Remove function do?

The One/Two Letter Word Remove functionality works on WordPress post/page slug creation where it will remove words according to your selected options.

How do redirects work?

Converting an old permalink with the Convert Old Permalinks function located at SETTINGS > Greek Multi Tool (Located on left sidebar) > «Convert Old Permalinks» TAB. The plugin automatically creates all the required changes and fields inside of WordPress database to achieve the redirection.

Finally i find the solution for my future project in Greek language! Guys when your website is not using Latin alphabet, it always complicated! This plugin works great with my test wp project, so i will definitely use it on my prod. Hope that developer will update it to all upcoming wp versions. Ευχαριστώ πολύ παιδιά για τη δουλειά σας! Ένα χρήσιμο εργαλείο για όσους χρησιμοποιούν το WordPress για να φτιάχνουν σελίδες στα Ελληνικά. Με αυτό το plugin λύνονται δύο βασικά προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουμε όσοι χρησιμοποιούμε την Ελληνική γλώσσα στις ιστοσελίδες μας: Από την μία διορθώνεται το πρόβλημα με τους συνδέσμους. Πλέον οι σύνδεσμοι είναι με λατινικούς χαρακτήρες ανεξάρτητα σε ποια γλώσσα είναι ο τίτλος του άρθρου ή της σελίδας. Και επίσης αφαιρούνται οι τόνοι από τα κεφαλαία.
