iframe Shortcode

Description

Allows you to paste iframe codes in the visual editor, just enclose within the [iframe][/iframe] shortcode.

  • Paste your iframe code right into the visual editor, enclosed within the [iframe] shortcode.
  • When published the iframe code will be decoded to display properly.

Installation

  1. Use automatic installer
  2. Activate plugin
  3. When editing a post or a page with the classic editor, to add an iframe – type [iframe] then paste code, then type [/iframe] to enclose.
  4. When the post is viewed, the iframe code will be converted to display properly.

FAQ

Does this work with the block editor?

No, this plugin is for the classic editor when using the visual editor. For block based sites use the HTML block for the same functionality.

Can I use YouTube, Vimeo, SlideShare, SlideRocket, etc… iframe embed codes?

Honey badger don’t care. Any iframe inside the shortcode will be decoded and displayed. Go wild.
