Can I change the background image?

Yes, now you can do it from the «log in» option in the appearance menu.

What happens if I don’t have a logo?

The WordPress logo will be displayed by default.
You can also customize your logo from the «log in» option in the appearance menu. -
I changed the background image but it takes a while to load

Try reducing the image size or restoring the plugin to its initial version.

Could you share as to where on the dashboard your plugin installs to. I spent 30 minutes trying to locate it. Does it even install to the dashboard. Clarification is needed.
