Its flagship feature in WordPress is the **AI Visibility Tracker** — a brand radar that shows how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek mention and cite your brand. Track custom prompts, measure AI visibility score, mentions, citations, sentiment, share of voice, and LLM coverage. Compare competitors and see which engines recommend you (or your rivals). All of that lives in the WordPress admin after you connect your TrueRanker account. You also get daily Google keyword rankings (Rank Tracker) and backlink summaries in the same dashboard. Rankings and deeper reports sync with your TrueRanker account at [trueranker.com](https://trueranker.com/). The plugin is free and GPL-licensed. TrueRanker offers a 14-day trial with no credit card. #### AI Visibility Tracker (brand radar) The AI Visibility screen is a first-class WordPress admin page — not a bolted-on link: * **AI visibility score** with breakdown (mention rate, citation rate, sentiment, share of voice, LLM coverage). * **Mentions and citations** across your prompt set, with change vs the previous period. * **LLM coverage** — which of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek mention your brand, and how often. * **Competitors and share of voice** — see your brand radar against rivals, including share of voice per LLM and over time. * **Prompt results** — a table of prompts by location, presence on each AI engine( mention / citation), sentiment, and trend. Click a row to open the prompt detail modal (engine responses, citations, sentiment, and history). * **Score trend** — score, mentions, and citations over time. * **AI Visibility Changes** — when engines start or stop citing you for a prompt. Add and manage prompts from your TrueRanker account (opened signed-in from the plugin). Tracking and reporting for AI search stay in WordPress once data is available. #### Also in this plugin * **Onboarding.** Connect with your TrueRanker API key, or enter your email and TrueRanker sends the key to that address. If several projects match this site, pick one. If none match, create a project for the site domain. * **Dashboard.** KPIs and charts for Rank Tracker, AI Visibility (score, mentions, citations), and backlinks. If SEO audits are enabled on the account, a score summary is shown too. * **Rank Tracker.** Date range, summaries (average position, keyword distribution, AI Overviews), a sortable keyword table, history/SERP snapshot, and add keywords by location and device (desktop, mobile, or both). * **Settings.** Active project and log out. * **Language.** English or Spanish, following the WordPress site language. Other locales fall back to English. #### In your TrueRanker account These suite tools are available at [trueranker.com](https://trueranker.com/); they are not separate WordPress admin screens yet: * Local SEO tracker (map-pack / geo-grid) * Full SEO audit crawler * Competitor research beyond the AI Visibility competitor cards * White-label and scheduled reports * Backlink explorer and disavow workflow * AI Visibility prompt creation and advanced setup #### External service After you connect, the plugin talks only to `https://app.trueranker.com`. Nothing is sent until you enter an API key or ask TrueRanker to email one. * [Terms of use](https://trueranker.com/terms-and-conditions-of-use/) * [Privacy policy](https://trueranker.com/privacy-policy/) * [Legal notice](https://trueranker.com/legal-notice/) Requires PHP 8.0 or higher and WordPress 6.6 or higher. ### Third-party resources This plugin bundles the following GPL-compatible libraries locally (no CDN): Chart.js 4.5.1 Copyright (c) Chart.js Contributors License: MIT https://github. com/chartjs/Chart.js react-chartjs-2 5.3.1 Copyright (c) Jeremy Ayerst License: MIT https://github.com/ reactchartjs/react-chartjs-2 @kurkle/color 0.3.4 (Chart.js dependency) Copyright (c) Jukka Kurkela License: MIT https://github.com/kurkle/color Tabulator 6.5.0 Copyright (c) 2015-2024 Oli Folkerd License: MIT https://github. com/olifolkerd/tabulator Admin UI icons use WordPress Dashicons (GPL) and an original rocket SVG licensed GPL-2.0-or-later with this plugin. ## Screenshots [⌊Dashboard with Rank Tracker, AI Visibility, backlinks and SEO audit summaries⌉⌊ Dashboard with Rank Tracker, AI Visibility, backlinks and SEO audit summaries⌉[ Dashboard with Rank Tracker, AI Visibility, backlinks and SEO audit summaries [⌊Rank Tracker with average position, keyword distribution, AI Overviews and the keyword table⌉⌊Rank Tracker with average position, keyword distribution, AI Overviews and the keyword table⌉[ Rank Tracker with average position, keyword distribution, AI Overviews and the keyword table [⌊Keyword history, search trend and Google's top 10 URLs⌉⌊Keyword history, search trend and Google's top 10 URLs⌉[ Keyword history, search trend and Google’s top 10 URLs [⌊Add keywords by location and device⌉⌊Add keywords by location and device⌉[ Add keywords by location and device [⌊AI Visibility Tracker brand radar: score, mentions, citations, LLM coverage and competitors share of voice⌉⌊AI Visibility Tracker brand radar: score, mentions, citations, LLM coverage and competitors share of voice⌉[ AI Visibility Tracker brand radar: score, mentions, citations, LLM coverage and competitors share of voice [⌊Prompt results across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek with sentiment and trend⌉⌊Prompt results across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek with sentiment and trend⌉[ Prompt results across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and DeepSeek with sentiment and trend [⌊Share of voice per LLM and share of voice over time for your brand vs competitors⌉⌊ Share of voice per LLM and share of voice over time for your brand vs competitors⌉[ Share of voice per LLM and share of voice over time for your brand vs competitors [⌊Prompt detail: ChatGPT, Claude and other engine responses, citations and history for a tracked prompt⌉⌊Prompt detail: ChatGPT, Claude and other engine responses, citations and history for a tracked prompt⌉[ Prompt detail: ChatGPT, Claude and other engine responses, citations and history for a tracked prompt ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/seo-local-rank/` or install via the WordPress Plugins screen. 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen. 3. Open **TrueRanker** in the admin menu. Enter your API key, or start from scratch with your email. You can also connect later from TrueRanker Settings. ## FAQ ### What is the AI Visibility Tracker / brand radar? It is TrueRanker’s AI Visibility Tracker: a brand radar for generative search. In WordPress you see how often ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, and DeepSeek mention or cite your brand for the prompts you track — including score, share of voice vs competitors, LLM coverage, sentiment, and prompt-level results. Prompt setup opens your TrueRanker account; the tracker UI runs in the WordPress admin. ### Where do I get my API key? Log in to your TrueRanker account, open Settings, and copy your API key. You can also start from scratch in the plugin: enter your email and TrueRanker will send the API key to that address. ### Do I need a TrueRanker account? Yes. The plugin is free (GPLv2 or later). AI Visibility tracking, rank tracking, and the rest of the suite run on TrueRanker’s service. Plans and the 14-day trial are on [trueranker.com](https://trueranker.com/). ### What data is sent to TrueRanker? Nothing until you connect. When you start from scratch, the plugin sends the email address you type and a language code (`en` or `es`) from your WordPress locale. The API key is emailed to you and is not returned in the plugin response. After you connect, the plugin stores the API key on the server only (it is never exposed to the admin JavaScript). Authenticated requests send a session token plus what you do in the UI: this site’s URL, project IDs, date ranges, keywords with locations and device, and AI Visibility project data. All of that goes to `https:// app.trueranker.com`. ### Will my settings be preserved when upgrading from v2? Yes. The plugin migrates your API key and selected domain from the previous version automatically. ### What if my site runs an older WordPress or PHP? 3.0.x requires WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 8.0+. WordPress will not offer this update on sites below those versions. Stay on 2.3.0 until you can upgrade the stack. ### The v2 plugin had a Dutch translation. Is it still included? No. 3.0.x ships English (source) and Spanish (`es_ES`, also used for other `es_*` locales). Other languages show English until a translation is added. ## Reviews ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/583d74cc2b2b355ed96b1525ed1db139552e7a0b9f6900bc04b466d137f674a1? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Limited](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/limited-35/)󠁿 [yaham](https://profiles.wordpress.org/yaham/) 2. April 2022 True ranker is much more than a simple Wordpress plugin, it is above all a tool for monitoring positions in Google which offers many very practical features such as dashboard sharing and many filter possibilities in these views. The Wordpress Plugin part is all very practical to have this follow-up directly accessible in the administration of Wordpress. The True Ranker team really listens to users and the tool continues to improve. I appreciate that it is very accessible (even for people who are not used to this type of tool) while being very complete. In addition, the possibility of sending daily reports is really very practical. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/51341a81fa44d6298f1736e016d31c734ac266311164447bc0003a318614f578? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Awesome](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/awesome-8317/)󠁿 [DanielPeris](https://profiles.wordpress.org/dani2701/) 10.
