Add a review as the store owner<\/h4>\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Products \u2192 Product Reviews<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Add a new review<\/strong> card at the bottom, start typing a product name and pick one from the suggestions. You can attach the <strong>same review to several products at once<\/strong> \u2014 repeat the search to add more.<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the reviewer <strong>name<\/strong> (required), email (optional), a <strong>rating from 1 to 5<\/strong>, a title, the review text and the review date.<\/li>\n<li>Choose a <strong>status<\/strong>: <em>Approved<\/em> (counts toward the rating and the Google markup) or <em>Pending<\/em> (hidden from the storefront).<\/li>\n<li>Optionally tick <strong>Show \"Verified purchase\" badge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save review<\/strong>. It appears in the reviews list on the same page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h4>2. Edit or moderate an existing review<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Hover a review in the list and click <strong>Edit<\/strong>, or use the <strong>Approve \/ Set pending \/ Delete<\/strong> row actions.<\/li>\n<li>The form pre-fills every field. Click <strong>Update review<\/strong> to save, or <strong>Cancel editing<\/strong> to go back.<\/li>\n<li>Changing the linked products makes the review appear on, or disappear from, those products immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>3. Let customers review their purchases<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>No configuration needed. On any product page, the <strong>Reviews<\/strong> tab shows an <strong>Add Review<\/strong> button to <strong>logged-in customers who have purchased that product<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>They pick a rating and (optionally) a title and review text, then click <strong>Submit Review<\/strong>. The review is published instantly and badged as a <strong>verified purchase<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A customer can review each product only once; the button is replaced by a thank-you note afterwards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Guests<\/strong> and logged-in users who have not purchased the product see a note explaining that only verified buyers can review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>4. Ratings on your storefront<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Approved reviews power the rating widget shown <strong>directly below the product title<\/strong> on single product pages and in shop\/category loops.<\/li>\n<li>Each rating is displayed as a row of <strong>five robot faces<\/strong> that all share the mood of the average score \u2014 from an angry red robot at 1 star to a joyful green robot at 5 stars.<\/li>\n<li>The review count next to the rating is a link that opens the product's Reviews tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>5. Google rich results<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Approved reviews are automatically added to your product pages as schema.org <code>aggregateRating<\/code> and <code>review<\/code> markup \u2014 no extra plugin or settings required.<\/li>\n<li>To check a page, run its URL through Google's <strong>Rich Results Test<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Pending reviews are excluded from the markup, so only reviews you have approved can influence your search results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>6. Track your reviews<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The reviews list shows the rating, every linked product, the reviewer, the date, the status and the actions for each review.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <strong>status filter<\/strong> and the <strong>search box<\/strong> to find reviews quickly; long lists are paginated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>7. Removing the plugin<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Deactivating the plugin hides all ratings but keeps your reviews.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deleting<\/strong> the plugin from the Plugins screen removes its custom tables and options permanently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"when%20will%20star%20ratings%20appear%20in%20google%20search%20results%3F\"><h3>When will star ratings appear in Google search results?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Rich results depend on Google's crawling and indexing. Once your product pages are re-indexed, eligible products can show review stars. You can test your pages with Google's Rich Results Test tool.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20with%20my%20theme%3F\"><h3>Does it work with my theme?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Yes. The rating widget hooks into WooCommerce's standard template locations and a small script relocates it directly below the product title, so it stays correctly placed on virtually any theme.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"who%20can%20write%20reviews%3F\"><h3>Who can write reviews?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Two ways: you can add and manage reviews yourself from the dashboard, and any <strong>logged-in customer who has purchased the product<\/strong> can post their own review via the \"Add Review\" button in the Reviews tab.
