This is such an elegant way to incorporate Mapbox maps into your site, especially if you use a page builder besides Gutenberg. We use the Elementor pagebuilder so it’s nice to be able to just insert a shortcode directly into Elementor’s shortcode element.

The free plugin is fine for people wanting to make a simple map within wordpress. However, I paid for the advanced license because I already had stylized mapbox maps with data sets. The data import functions for the advanced license sort of worked, but was buggy most of the time and my icon markers still do not display and neither do the popups. I reached out to support and got no response. I also was really interested in the «store finder» function of the advanced license but was very unimpressed with it. It does fly you to the different locations, but you cannot really style the locations list or add any extra data to the list from your data/tile sets. Overall I feel like I definitely wasted my money and should have stuck with the free version.

I am a fairly savvy developer, but not an expert. I downloaded this plugin and proceeded to get a Mapbox account. I have an unresolved issue. Basically, the plugin doesn’t work. The shortcode is rendering markup on the page, not a map. I’ve watched the videos, read the docs, and asked for support. I’ve done all the usual disabling plugins, deleting, reactivating, new maps, new access tokens. Nothing works. Support is not offered for this plugin. It would be unwise to purchase premium. Until the plugin works, and until support is offered, I would give it the lowest rating. If this situation changes, I’d be happy to change my review.
