Description
Easy Fundraisers was originally developed for a charity organisation to allow users of the website to
create their own fundraisers. The fundraisers may be aimed at certain topics (such as «schools»), and these
are published on the website after administrator approval. Users of the website can then donate to the
approved fundraisers on the website.
Payments are currently handled through PayEx.
Shortcodes:
[createcollection] – Use this shortcode on a page to view the form for creating a new collection.
[previewcollection] – Use this shortcode on a page to view the 3-column widget.
[collectionarchive] – Use this shortcode on a page to view the archive of the fundraisers.
An archive is automatically created when installing the plug-in, so the shortcode for the archive
exist as a backup in case of conflicts.
Installation
This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.
- Upload the plugin files to the
/wp-content/plugins/easy-fundraisersdirectory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. - Activate the plugin through the ‚Plugins‘ screen in WordPress
- Use the Settings->Collections screen to configure the plugin
